This is a unique project, which traditionally every year encourages the acts of good deeds, thus helping children and future adults to recognize different values, giving them a chance to understand what is good and what is bad through the true stories of others.
For example, in 2013, the project engaged 8,186 children with a story about a good deed carried out by them or their mates. More than one hundred thousand children worked with an educational material, and the project was supported by more than 700 schools across the country.
For the first time in 2014, we have prepared methodological material for ten model lessons, during which teachers can carry out to work with the letters of children and their good deeds. The lessons stem from the international standard classification of education, ISCED for Moral Education in Primary Schools, but may also be used during lessons of religious education or Slovak language. Children and teachers work with the educational material during the lessons of ethics and Slovak language as well as at school clubs, learning to understand through the true stories what is good, how to help and support others and how to protect people and the environment.
